DRUE SALON
Born in 2014. Co-owners Drue McPherson and Becky Watters bring a lively, creative, and chic energy to downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. Our atmosphere is calm, eclectic, and welcoming to everyone.

At DRUE Salon, we use luxury, more naturally based Kevin Murphy Italian hair color to cover those “natural blondes,” enhance your natural color, or give you a fashion forward look inspired by global trends.

We chose to use R+Co products as they feature unique ingredients and benefits that are designed to deliver immediate, high-performing results. All R+Co formulas are color-safe, heat and UV protective, vegan, cruelty and gluten-free, and formulated without parabens, sulfates (SLS or SLES), mineral oil and petroleum. R+Co is packaged in eco-friendly packaging to reduce our carbon footprint. Additionally, we carry Kevin Murphy products which are formulated to act as “skincare for your hair,” absorbing into your locks for beautiful, natural-inspired looks. Kevin Murphy products are packaged in bottles made from ocean water plastics, reducing the salon industry’s carbon footprint.

Sustainability and the use of naturally based products are at the core of our salon’s culture.

CANCELLATION AND LATE POLICY
Due to our limited openings, we request a 48-hour advance notice in the event of cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. This allows us enough time to fill the stylist’s opening and allow the booking of another client who may be waiting for an appointment. Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment will be responsible for a 50% charge of the initial appointment. Any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment will be responsible for a 100% charge of the initial appointment. We understand the nature of COVID-19, but as a reassurance of our stylist’s income and the future of our salon, client appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours due to COVID-19 will be charged 50% of the initial appointment.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take clients that are more than 10 minutes late to their scheduled appointment. No shows and late appointments will be responsible for 100% of the service missed. Please note that payment for a missed appointment will need to be collected before you are able to reschedule another appointment.

We ask that clients who are unable to maintain scheduled appointments due to the challenges that we call “life” call the salon for day of scheduling to ensure that our stylist’s time is respected and that we can maintain our eclectic, accepting, and welcoming space.

For new color clients or appointments that require two or more hours, a credit card will need to be put on file to hold the appointment and/or a deposit.

PRODUCT EXCHANGES
Any product purchased at DRUE Salon may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
