Drue McPherson (he/him) // Co-Owner, Artist

With experience as a salon owner for more than a decade and as a color educator for more than eight years, Drue created the salon to merge his passions of advanced color technique, while building a diverse and equitable salon culture. Drue excels in advanced blonding techniques and LIVES for a gorgeous balayage. He believes in creating shape through defined lines with soft interior texture that grants movement and versatility.

Outside of the salon, Drue attends a graduate program in architecture at Kendall College of Art and Design for additional inspiration, knowledge, and is an avid activist for diversity and equity. He serves on Kendall’s Committee of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice, as well as the President’s Equity Council. This past year he worked as a chair for the planning of Kalamazoo’s Pride 2023. He also enjoys visiting museums, painting, photography, and travel.
